Centennial Celebration

In 2010, United Church of Chapel Hill will mark its Centennial Anniversary.

It is an exciting time for this congregation, a time for celebration and of thanksgiving for God's guiding hand. The celebration of this important milestone provides us the opportunity to discover and share our church’s story and blessings – within the church and within our wider community. Celebration stands at the very center of our lives.

The Centennial Committee, chaired by Amy Cutrell and Gates Vrooman, is planning a variety of events to mark the occasion:

  • Music celebration with organ concert by Alex Anderson: November 13.
  • Centennial Cookbook sale at the Alternative Christmas Market:  Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22.
  • Music celebration with brass and handbells: December 6.
