Jill and Richard Edens

Pastors at United Church of Chapel Hill since 1979. They both received their M.Divs from Yale Divinity School in 1978. Jill received her D.Min. from Lancaster Theological Seminary in 1996. Susan Steinberg

Jenny Shultz

David Mateo

Associate Pastor of Spanish Language Ministries. David has a degree in Natural Sciences and Theological studies from Honduras.  He graduated from the PLD (Pastoral Leadership Program) program of the UCC, and is currently a second year student at the M.Div. program at Lancaster Theological Seminary; Lancaster, PA.  He's married to Lindsay Owen, and has a 6 year old son, David Jr. [dmateo@unitedchurch.org]

Jenny Cosby Anderson

Director of Music Ministry. Jenny received a BA and MAT in Music from Rollins College in Florida. She joined the staff at United Church part time in 2001 as the Chancel Choir director. In 2011 she came on board full time to lead the growing music program at UCCH. She directs the Chancel and Youth Choirs and the Chancel Handbells. In addition she coordinates the music program and provides support to the wonderful volunteer group leaders. Jenny and her husband, Alex, live in Carrboro. Mary Beth Petersen

Organist and Keyboard Coordinator. Mary Beth received a B.Music from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. She also completed 1 1/2 years of seminary study at SEBTS in Wake Forest. She joined the staff at United Church in 1998. Mary Beth resides in Durham where she teaches piano students of all ages. Director, United Voices of Praise. Charles also teaches keyboards and leads the Charles Bradshaw Quartet.
